The most frightening Malware this Halloween

    By Tecnica | Uncategorised | 0 comment | 29 October, 2021 | 0

As Halloween approaches, we take a look at some of the worst Malware that could come to haunt your organisation.

2021 has, so far, been a year dominated by Cyber attacks. The thought of a Cyber attack is very frightening for organisations and, as well as stealing and locking away files, attackers will also leak the data of your organisation if a Ransomware settlement fee is not paid.

Hackers seem to be attacking businesses of all sizes and, most worryingly, small businesses have been made to pay a large fee to regain their files after an attack.

Cyber attackers will aim to gain access to your computer systems through sending you suspicious links through Phishing emails or by installing malicious software. These attackers set out to steal, alter or destroy your data once they have gained access to it.

    Types of Malware

If your business is concerned about system security, Tecnica’s experienced team of experts can carry out security audits periodically and report these at board level to highlight risk and plan mitigation. Furthermore, we can provide basic monitoring of the network and vigilance over current threats that appear in the public domain to minimise exposure.
