The public cloud is a cloud infrastructure shared between multiple public users or ‘tenants’, and is hosted and controlled off-premise by a cloud service provider. Due to its shared infrastructure pool, the public cloud is most commonly used by organisations for everyday applications that do not contain private or sensitive data.
Tenants of a public cloud benefit greatly from economies of scale by sharing the infrastructure costs between them, and only pay for the resources they use – creating a clear price advantage over a private cloud.
As Microsoft partners Tecnica can offer Office 365 as a public cloud based service, enabling all of our clients the ability to work anywhere, anytime, on any device. Office 365 and Azure provide businesses of any size with increased user productivity, assured reliability and robust security.
