Tecnica Ltd are a Business Systems Integration and Support organisation specialise in delivering Business Systems to SME’s. We are a leading Scottish IT Solutions provider, delivering innovative infrastructure solutions to organisations across Scotland.

Our support team specialise in Microsoft Server Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Desktop and Mobile support. Tecnica offer a high level of consultancy leveraging several complimentary technologies our extended specialised skills enable us to support and develop IT strategies for clients of varying size. Tecnica excel in Centralised Consolidation, Support and Outsourced services, as well as Cloud based services such as Server and Web Hosting, DNS management, Spam Filtering, Web Filtering, and Disaster Recovery (DRBC) presenting a comprehensive portfolio of IT business services.

The successful candidate will be based in our Dunfermline Office, help deliver technical consultancy services to both new and existing customers throughout Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First Line Support Part of the support team, log and clear incidents.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • System Administration
  • Endpoint Builds
  • Attend customer site (Supervised)
  • Installation and Configuration tasks

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to progress their IT career and be a team member of successful, growing IT Company. Initially this is a temporary trainee position for 6 months with the opportunity for a permanent Trainee/Apprentice position on satisfactory completion of training and exams leading to a Microsoft Certified qualification. There will be ongoing career development opportunities to obtain qualifications and hands on experience in a number of IT Industry related proficiencies.

Our Graduate Trainee/Apprenticeship opportunity offers hands on work experience, training, recognised industry certification exams while working with best of breed technologies and multi-vendors. We provide invaluable insight into Industry end to end solutions inclusive of innovation projects incorporating Virtualisation, Cloud Services, SAN Technology, Converged solutions, Hosting, DRBC, along with exposure to large scale Design and Implementations. Throughout the process they will receive mentoring from our highly skilled IT Consultants with more than 25 years’ experience.

Candidates should possess a minimum HND in Computer Science or related IT field (Degree desirable).

Software Development/Programing qualification/experience advantageous.

Driver License essential

The successful candidate is required to be articulate and well presented as expected in a customer service environment and be able to demonstrate their interest in perusing an IT Consultancy and Support career.

Candidate should have minimum HNC in Computer Science or related IT field.
